The Marten/rodent repel system can be expanded to include a maximum of 12 contact plates thus reducing the distance between the individual plates. The complete system has a battery operated high-voltage unit and operates on the electric fence principle using bipolar stainless steel contacts. It also has 2 Piezo loudspeakers for an effective sonic defence. The flashing warning lamp indicates sufficient voltage is supplied and also additionally irritates the Marten/rodent. The circuit breaker included in package interrupts the electrical circuit when the bonnet is opened (warning lamp in control unit no longer flashes).
